I have a question. One day i decided to use my frineds sex toy. We had just been camping for about 1 and a half to two weeks. A little while later i found out that she had herpes. Would the herpes virus be able to live that long on a surface like a sex toy. I Went to the doctor because my anus was itching and burning but he gave me cream for a fungus. Recently I have also been using hemeroid cream on my anus. It seems to be responding well. The itch around my anus has been consistent though it has not come in spurts some days its worse then others but it hasnt completly gone away. Thie itching has been consistent for like 2 and a half years but it never goes awayCould this just be a hemerroid? Im gonna go to the doctor and get a physical soon. Anyways there has been no fever blisters, or lesions. or anythin like that though. An i really havent felt anything besides the itching and the burning, usually it comes after bowel movments. when a person has an outbreak do the symtoms all come or can there be itching and stuff without the appearance or anything ? Is the itching intense or what? anyways any info would be hot. Herpes is only spread through direct contact with the a person who is sheeding it right?

I will say something, just in case you do have herpes to give you some encouragement. I have genital herpes, and it is not the end of the world.
USUALLY YOUR VERY FIRST outbreak IS LIKE THE FLU! Fever, Blisters on your vagina, you feel AWFUL!
It is good to get checked out, but if you are not having any FLU-LIKE symptoms, you may not have herpes... THOSE very FIRST blisters and lesions are HUGE, AND indentifiable.

well I have not noticed an type of blistering at all. Its just this crazy itch around my anus. As I said sometimes it burns after I have a bowel movement. I have examined myself in the mirror many times but there appears to be no apparent cause to my eye. That is whay I have sort of let it go. I also have not experienced in my 2 years after the incident any flu like symtoms, I had a actual fever but otherwise nothing except for m itchy anus. If there are no huge blister then Im guessing mabey its just a really bad fungus. My doc did give me cream for a fungus but it has not proved effective. Is there another way to treat a fungus? And one more question, do these blister hurt, sting ir what? Thanks
The blisters you get with a herpes outbreak, IF that's what it would be, would be VERY PAINFUL and itchy.

Well then I think im just worrying but I wil never do that again. I have experience no blisters or pain. Just itch.
If you did not have blisters than you may not have herpes, but you are obviously irritated. It still may be a good idea to see a doc, just in case anything else can be done to help you out.

It sound like it's hemmeroids. Yes they cause itching, yes usually after a bowel movement and no they aren't always on the outside. The creams should not be used long term.
Adding a DAILY bulking fiber to your diet can often relieve the problem ( this should become a lifelong practice to avoid reoccurance)but if it doesn't then follow up with your Doctor. He'll probably order a colonoscopy to rule out other problems, don't worry the preperation is worse than the procedure.
