I think humans and aliens are experiments and aliens were sent away because they failed and humans are now the experiment and if we fail we go away too

My son asked me this question and I told him that God created us, so it is conceivable that he might do the same in another galaxy. Maybe we were just the test market...hmm??
And it is possible that he didn't choose to share that information with us the THE BOOK. Heaven knows what we would do with THAT.
