I have dealt with PCOS all my life, and I unfortunatley had a cyst grow to the size of a grapefruit which resulted in the torsion and removal of my left ovary and fallopian tube. About a week ago, I had a cyst rupture in my left ovary which left me totally helpless and rolling on the floor in pain. When I had an ultra sound my ob found, what she called, an "abnormal looking cyst." She said it wasn't filled with clear liquid, and scheduled an appt. for me to come back in a month so she could see the "progression." I'm dealing with an awful lot of pain still, and my mind is going to some very dark places on what could be happening to me. Has anyone gone through something similar? My uterus is fine, and my pap smear came back a-ok, but I know pap smears don't test for ovarian cancer....
