does anyone have to wear this neck stimulator after neck fusion surgery? tfhey said cause i am a smoker and it helps the fusion and heal quicker i have to wear it 4 hours a day fors 6-9 month, this thing is heavy around my neck and i cant shut itd off for 4 hours or 2 hours min at a time

Yes I did ---but i was a smoker too-- trust me quit smoking its the #1 risk factor for failed fusion--because if you dont fuse......the pain in unreal. If you cant--- cut back as much as you can. I had a few friends with failed fusion all were smokers too and revision surgery sometimes leaves you in worse pain. It can take from 6 months to a year to fuse.
