Any fellow runners have asthma? would it really affect a runners performance even if the treatment is taken???

I have asthma and require a daily hit of Advair to keep the air flowing.
Been asthmatic since I was 12 and im now 40....I take advair twice a day and really don't have any problems running. Once is awhile I will have an off day becasue I can't breath but not to often....You can do it!!
