I have recently started taking birthcontrol pills and i am wondering if the pill is sure enough to prevent me from getting pregnant even though my partner ejaculates inside me...

Thanks
Well, that is the whole idea of bc pills, isn't it? Make sure it's been over two weeks since you started taking bc pills. Use additional protection until bc pills are effective enough.

yes birth controll pills protect you from getting pregnant. they have hormones called estrogen and progestin that do not allow your body to release a mature egg, and they also change the consistency of the lining of your uterus so implantation cannot occour.

Be sure that you have been on the pill for 7 days before you have unprotected sex though, you have to give the pills time to work. also if you miss more than one pill, use condoms for 7 days.
