Does methadone affect male fertility?

i and my husband r trying to get pregnant n he is on methadone n wants to come off so that we have a better chance at getting pregnant please help w any tips

my husband has been on methadone for seven years and now we want to have a baby I am worried that he is infertile now what are some things he can do to get off of the methadone?

I'll let u know now that methadone didn't effect my fertility as a male considering that I'm on 90mg right now and just found out that my girl is pregnant yesterday. It only took 1 month of trying to get her pregnant. We were very worried that we wouldn't be able to get her pregnant cause of the methadone but sure enough it only took 1 try lol

Hi me and my boyfriend are on methadone 3 months and a week can this affect us from having a baby we have been trying and nothing is happening is there anything that can take to bust up his sperm level he's been taking zinc tablets but they dont seem to be working id appreciate it if u could get back to me...thanks

I have beeb on a low dose for almost 1 year we are trying for a baby and it's not working. Before meth I was able to have kids and well I'm having not luck lately I want to kick it

Any information about helping someone quit would be awesome. My bf has been taking it for about a yr and we did the at home sperm check kit that shows he is in fact infertile. This whole time I thought it was me. He's willing to quit but he is having a hard time. He is just starting half a pull in the morning and half at night. Just not sure where to go from here. Thanks in advance.

Did you ever quit the methadone? Or were you still on methadone when she conceived? Was she on methadone also?
