I have a problem with my 6 year old kid. He has behaving very aggressively and it looked like there was nothing I say or do might calm him down. Doctor diagnosed him with an Oppositional Defiant disorder and I would like to know if that means I will have problems when my kid becomes an adult?
That might happen, but only if you leave his present condition untreated. So, with a psychological therapy he should be able to overcome this problem. There are several types of those treatments and after a psychological evaluation, doctor will determine which one is the best for him. Do not be concerned, help him as much as you can and he should be just fine.
