I honestly think that it can change. I lost my virginity to my husband on our wedding night and my period was out of whack for at least 5 months. It is now back to normal, but I used to be 28 days, and now it's 30 days. Before I had sex, I had major cramps and breast growth. I don't have cramps anymore, but I bloat. So, I think it can change your period. I've been "late" almost every month since we got married.
I'm 20 years old and I lost my virginity to my boyfriend on the 4th of this month. Since then we had sexual intimacy at least 3 to four times. We did use protection the whole time we did it and we keep checking on the condom during it. And he alwayed pulled out when he cums. But the my period is 2days late. The last period ended on the 1/2 of of this month. So I wanted to know whats going on. A lot of people been telling me that once you become sexually active then it will sometimes change. I am now freaking out and so is my boyfriend. And my clinic won't be open tomorrow so I will not be able to make an appointment tomorrow and even then I will no get any answers till I get the appointment with 2weeks.
This makes me sad. All these teenagers having sex. This shouldnt be normal. Sigh.

I got my period exactly two days later. I guess it's different for everyone. Your menstrual cycle doesn't HAVE to change. Mine's regular so far.
