Is it possible to see results from just using Doxycycline if you have had lyme for years and the symptoms are CNS depression, anxiety? I take 400mg doxy and I’ll start with ABX. That is all that my doctor has me on. I am concerned it isn't enough.
I just got off my first round of Doxycycline. My doctor wants me off for 90 days, I have late stage lyme. You’ll see it will get nasty before you feel better. It will knock out a lot of the brain fog, but it has not knocked out any anxiety. They have tried 25 different meds for this and only one has worked xanax. However, my doctor won’t prescribe this because of addiction and tolerance. This is how I see: your doc works for you, so you can hire and fire as many as you have to, but you know your body the best, not a doctor.
