Hi there I need some advice, I'm on day 5 after getting my tongue pierced, everything seems fine and normal accept the top on my tongue is always dry. Is this normal?

Nobody answer you I wonder why cause I got my tongue pierced a week ago in I’m going thru the same thing rite now just wanna know if it’s normal

I got my bottom lip peicerd and my mouth is dry. I am also very thirsty
