My husband was diagnosed high blood pressure. He’s 65 years old. He felt dizzy, had tinnitus and persistent headache. These almost normal symptoms were caused by very high bp. I’m interested in dyazide mechanism of action. I’d like to hear experiences of people who use it. How does it control hbp?

I use dyazide too. It works as diuretic. Dyazide helps body to produce more urine and eliminate it, which helps lower bp. It keeps bp under control quite good. At the beginning of the therapy I noticed that my urine looked slightly blue. That was so unusual. But my physician explained me that it might appear as adverse reaction. I also experienced constipations caused by this drug, but I’ve changed my nutritional habits to prevent them.
