my nephew was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia as a 10 week old baby and subsequently was treated and had bone marrow transplant as well as chemotherapy during his first year, he now has some of the behaviours that are mentioned in the research into dementia and i was wondering is he has infact got early onset dementia. He had been under a psychiatrist for the past 3 years and mentioned that the frontemporal part of the brain seems to be effected and that is why he is acting the way he is and his personality has changed so much in the last 3 years. Could anyone maybe enlighten me as this may be possibly whats the actual cause for his behaviour.
