My ultrasound shows an ovarian cyst measuring 1.54 x 1.21cm that is sepated and shows a heterogenous echogenic area. What are the chances this is malignant ? Is surgery to remove it simple ?
I don't want to speculate on the malignancy because I'm not a doctor, but I know that ovarian cysts are usually pretty common. I know as well that the surgery to remove it is fairly routine so I don't think you will be having any issues in getting it taken care of. I know it's probably a little scary right now so just remember that it is a surgery that a lot of women undergo. I think virtually all the women I know have gotten one removed at some point.
