Hi, My name is Valerie W.  My Father in law Recently fell on a hard Kitchen floor. He is 94 and My Husband found him on his back but propped up behind an easy chair. In a Pool of blood.  He was alive but semi unconcious.  His Dr. said by all the tests that he was on his Kitchen floor for 10 hours. This happened Sat night , Aug 3rd.  He had skin tears on both his arms. No broken bones but bruising on his back, arms and legs.  He has been in the hospital now for 9 days and they found out he had pnumonia. He has been on anitbiotics and meds that whole time. He is better now but he is going into Rehab soon to get stronger and hopefully not fall again.

I was wondering if anyone had this same experience with their parents or elderly people fall on hard surfaces and because they were down so long that they contracted Pnumonia too. After his Rehab stay we will have to stay in his home from now on watching him. My Husband works alot of hours so My son and I will be the main Caregivers ect.  Thank you for listening.

I would appreciate anyone answering any questions for me even though I got alot of information from Drs and Hospital.

I recently fainted during a mammogram. Then fell to hard floor, and had a concussion. Now I'm in a bad shape. What to do?
