Interesting you say that because I have noticed enlarged bumps recently, and I started gargling with a hydrogen peroxide mouthwash, myself

I have these bumps for a month. They appeared after I had a surgery for a wisdom tooth removal. First I thought that the strange feeling was due to the stitches, but when I looked into the mirror, I saw those bumps. This forum soothes me a little bit, but I still have an appointment with a mouth medicine expert to be sure it is ok.

I too have dealt with this aggravating issue for a couple days now, and just looked at mytounge tonight and saw just 1 of these swollen taste buds its just been the annoying sensation something is stuck to the back of my tounge but no pain and as soon as I saw that taste bud I panicked but after reading y'all's stories it seems something fairly common and just one of those things that'll just have to go away on its own my mom said she has dealt with this too, so I appreciate so many of y'all replying on this page it has put my mind at ease and unless it gets much worse or doesn't go away in approximately 2 weeks it's no big deal just part of life's small annoyances

I have found that I get these large bumps on the very back of my tongue, even down into my throat, when i'm having allergies. I get a dry hacking cough and have post nasal drip right before the bumps enlarge. Hope this helps someone else.

Did you feel pain when swallowing? I too chew tobacco and am freaking out a bit. I see the enlarged pappilate but I also have a lot of pain when I swallow.
