How long until they went away?

I chew tobacco and thought it must be cancer, but after looking on the Interenet believe differently now. I'm taking antibiotics to get rid of the sinus infection and will be checking the mirrow for the next few weeks to make sure the circumvallate papillae recede somewhat.
Good news is you shouldn't die from having these circumvallate papillae, since everyone has them. Also I'm trying to halt the tobacco altogether.

DO you think this is possibly another stress factor? This is the first time I've ever had or noticed them being enlarged. Should I get it checked out?

Has anyone tried anything similar?

I've gotten canker sores for pretty much my entire life, but the past year or two I get them constantly. The doctors say it's because I stress out too much and it just activates the canker sores. I've had a couple, both on my tongue the past couple days, but a day ago the back of my throat felt weird. I took a look at it today when I got the chance and saw the enlarged bumps I'm assuming and hoping to just be the enlarged circumvallate papillae.
