When I was born I'm told I had a hernia and they decided to drop an undecended (sp) testicle. My whole life this one has hung lower than the other and is generally larger. I get by okay with this but from time to time I may sit down too fast and it's a tad painful. Lately I have been having issues with the right testicle in that sometimes it's much smaller than normal (usually after sex or masterbation) and I'm wondering if the larger and lower one just isn't releasing fluid. Sometimes I get a sharp pain in the right testicle after release that comes and goes for several hours. There are no lumps that I can feel on either other than the epididymis. Should I be worried or is this normal wear and tear for a 30 year old male?
Hello. I am a 23 year old male and since end of 2004, I have been having an off and on pain in my right testicle. It started suddenly one day and felt like an ache and there was no swelling or lumps or anything else. I saw a doctor the next day who examined me for signs of torsion but she couldn't find anything, a urine test was also done and it was ok. Then she referred me to get an ultrasound done on my testicles which too did not show anything wrong. Other doctor also examined me to signs of testicular cancer and also had me do another urine test which showed nothing again. The pain started in my right testicle and felt like an ache with occasional sharp pains, but eventually became duller and started to radiate away from testicles and down into my buttocks and eventually went away. Well, a few months later my pain came back. It was the same as before, more or less, so I got a referral to an Urologist. The urologist examined me and couldn’t think of what was wrong… :-) He said that it might be an infection that’s going away but keeps flaring up. He put me on Tylenol. I also have been tested for STDs and nothing was found.
