I have had the same problem and it occurs every three months or so. I do have cysts on my ovaries and if my boyfriend hits my ovaries during sex it can cause the cysts to burst and cause extreme pain. it happened two days in a row and the first time was worse than the second. it caused a lot of pressure and i felt like i had to go to the bathroom but i couldn't get up because it was like i was paralyzed from the pain. the second night it was just like normal period cramps and once i threw up they went away. i'm on birth control and it isn't helping the cysts, i actually think it may have caused them because i take progesterone only pills because i have a history of "auras" before i get migraines which means i lose my periferal vision before i get a migraine and it would be dangerous for me to take any birth control with estrogen in it. i haven't found anything that could help the pain besides throwing up, its one of those pains that causes nausea for sure. i hope i can find something that will help because even if its not close to my period it still hurts for me to have sex and its messing with my relationship badly to where my boyfriend doesn't even want to have sex with me.
It just gas! take an advil atleast 2 and drink a coke. so u can burp and fart the trapped gas out!
It's not gas! Check if you have PCOS. basically it is cysts on your ovaries that are being irritated durring sex. especially if he is going in deep.
I think I am going to do that because I know one of my aunts had that. I just dont want to end up having to have anything removed because i'm only 20 and i want to be able to have kids someday.
I've been sexually active for about 5 years and have had many partners and never have felt this pain before. I'm currently with my boyfriend so it makes me feel more comfortable to talk to him and tell him how it feels and how it hurts my stomach. First, it started to hurt when the penis would enter and then it gradually turned to a horrible stomach pain during and after. I would get super hot, dizzy, and in a ball. It hurt to cough, or make any movements with my muscles. I freaked out and thought of the worst possible things that it could be. I've gone to the doctors plenty of times with the same problem and no one could answer my questions. Going pee right after (if you feel the pain) and yes it might be uncomfortable while peeing but relieving the pressure actually helps a little. The best advice i could give is to go see your health care provider or even a free clinic, like planned parenthood.

I almost didn't want to go to the doctor because I was sure the pain had to do with sexually activity and I thought the doctor would probably just send me home.
Well, I did go to the doctor because I really couldn't take the pain. When I got to the hospital they thought I might have appendicitis. After a cat scan it revealed my left ovary was basically a mess. I had an ultrasound which confirmed my left ovary was hemmoraging after a cyst exploded. I was in the hospital for 3 days on pain medicine with my heboglobin being watched. Luckily I did not require surgery. I am still at home recovering at this time.
I would highly recommend anyone experiencing this type of pain to immediately seek medical attention.

I have been with my bf for just over a month now, we had sex 2 weeks ago and a week after i got really bad lower abdominal pains. i've left it and now it's getting worst it's moving to my LHS and i've checked for STIs and pregnancy. This is my first time having sex. I'm going for a ultrasound soon I'm so scared i'm hoping it's nothing serious like Ovarian Cysts which could lead to infertily. Anyone simular?
ive been having very bad abdominal pain and i dont know why because i had sex three days ago. i need to know what these means, it really worries me that i may be pregnant evethough i used protection. the first time i had sex i bleeded a lot and it hurted for a few days but i think thats kind of normal since it was my first time. but now i didnt bleed or anything and it didnt hurt at all. i hope there is nothing wrong with my vagina!!!
I had this same feeling when i met my b/f 2 yrs ago, i was in so much pain, basically crying like a little kid and asking him to call the ambulance cause it hurted so much, so then i took a Advil and the pain went away, but i never went to get it checked a couple of months ago it came back bt this time it was during sex and i was in doggy style, so i told him to stop and we tried a new position, den 2 days after i had my period, after that i started to realize that everytime im goin to have my period i would have that pain.
I have had this for years and they eventually gave me a hysterectomy which found sever endimetreosis as well and aidenmyosis. SO afterward I thought, great no more heavy periods or cramping and no more pain with sex :) Sadly 5 years later I still am having a problem with the pain during and after sex. Nothing to do with my partners size nor position and nothing to do with lubrication. Its obviously not my ovaries or a cyst. It feels like its my bladder area so I am at a loss! I was told prior to my surgery it was ovarian cysts and/or I was ovulating. I am not saying that this is not the case for some or most of you but I am saying that they must have misdiagnosed all of the aforementioned things since I have none of these and am still having the exact same pain :(
I'm married to a surgical urologist and he sees a lot of patients with this type of lower abdominal pain. One of the biggest problems he sees with women and lower abdominal pain (and it's such a simple fix!) is constipation. I know, I know, no one wants to think THAT is the cause of their pain, but a majority of female urological problems stem from constipation. I'm lucky to have a well endowed husband and I was having sharp pains in my lower abdomin after sex, rigorous or not. He put me on a gentle laxative/stool softener that I take daily and it was the perfect remedy. I stopped having post-coital pain and I only begin to notice pain when I've forgotten to take the stool softener for a couple days.

i have polycystic ovaries and i get really bad pains after sex. def go and get it checked out. i have had many opperations to help with my cysts but i just have to deal with the pain as their is no cure
I have been trying to figure out why my girlfriend has been in so much pain after sex, We had been to the ER & they couldn't give us an answer & she spent a few days in the hospital with still no results. She tells me I am larger than she is used to. She has a history of Gastric Bypass surgery about 1 1/2 yr ago & has a Mirena IUD Birth Control Device. Her pain is not always after sex though, it can come & go & brings her to tears it hurts so bad. All the doctors wanted to do was give her pain meds as all tests including MRI, blood tests & ultrasound came back negative, She has an appointment with a GI doctor soon, wondering if she needs to see an OBGYN also? Does anyone have any useful info based on what I've written here?
well i was in a relationship with a man with a penis on the smaller size, here recently i got a new boyfriend who has a penis on the very large size and we have had sex many times, i had my period and the cramps were horriable after my period the cramps didnt and now after my partner hand i have sex my lower stomach hurts like someone is just trearing out my insides. could it be because my boyfriend now is to big for me? i was proved to be HPV possitive but thats been almost 3 yrs ago and the dr told me is was more and likely to be faught off and not to worrie about it could that have something to do with it?
