ok here goes...I was having all the symptoms of pregnancy...fatigue, sore breasts, nausea, mood swings, I had sharp pains in my side (which I found out that is a sign of pregnancy) and I was having weird cravings and such... so I took a pregnancy test (3 months ago (April) and it was a faint positive...I was told before that even if there is a shadow of a line it doesn't matter there is a line = its positive...so I figured i would wait a few days and then take another so I did and it was negative...then a couple days later I started my period...I talked to my boyfriend about it and he said there was probably no way that I was pregnant bc I have/had ovarian cycts (not sure if they are still there) so I just put it completely out of my mind and forgot about it....now I think that I was wrong....I am nauseous alot I dont wanna eat half of the time, I get irritated easily, I feel bloated alot, I have milky discharge sometimes, and my hair (which has always been oily if I didnt wash it every other day) seems to never get oily...could I really be pregnant? I wouldn't even have to ask anyone if I had medical insurance...but I dont and I dont want to look silly in front of a doctor...or pay for something that I dont need...which leads me to another question...how much does a blood pregnancy test cost? Bc since I have been having my periods thats the only way that I will be able to find out...any help will be appreciated....Thanks!
the same thing happened to me about 3 years ago. Faint positive HPT and then a negative one a few days later. Then a negative blood test. They said it was a chemical pregnancy (aka very early miscarraige). I would suggest taking another home pregnancy test, intead of paying for a blood one (they're about 50 bucks at PP), because if you're 3 months along, you'll have enough pregnancy hormone to show up on a home test, whether you're still having monthly bleeding or not.
