My friend thinks she might be pregnant.
She has missed two cycles.
She took a pregnancy test but it is negative.
We are sure it is a false negative.
Advice anyone?
Could it be the implant showing a negative result?
To make sure if she's pregnant or not she must do a blood test and see a doctor of course... I advise you not to wait long before you do that... Best of luck!

No, an implant wouldn't cause false negative.

False negative results can occur from using a diluted urine sample and from taking a test too early in pregnancy. First morning urine is the best sample for pregnancy testing.

At the same gestational stages, different women produce different levels of hCG,, so hpt indication of pregnancy may vary between women.

I agree with lucky, your friend needs to see a doc for a blood test.
