I have recently been pescribed Flagyl - which is terrible, by my doctor for treament of.. something.
I thought it was Chlamydia - so i took a one time pill.. and a test, which was negative - obviously the test before the pill..
A burning sensation in the end of the penis, and aching testicles..
Now i'm taking this Flagyl, i still have the burning sensation and aching.. the burning has dropped a little.. but it still really hurts.. and i'm not sure what is happening - any ideas? It doesn't match with anything i've read (and i've read a lot). There is no discharge, no rash, spots and wounds.. what could it be?

how long have you been noticing these symptomes. have you ever had unprotected sex? what you may have is a protazoan infection called tichomonas vaginalis. it is the most common std in women and it is an anaerobic parasite. the flygal is suppose to be effective against it. what STD tests have you had? just for chlamdia? i would have thought it could be that as well.

I noticed them about two weeks ago now. Unprotected sex, yes.. the symptoms started directly after (about a day) I've been taking Flagyl for around four days.. the symptoms are getting a little better but still a very painful burning and aching.. i'm not sure the medication is fully working. How long should this take? Apprently, i should notice an improvement after the third day? It feels like a tiny stone in the end of my penis - not too nice.

well have you been tested for tricomonas?? it could be that or it is possible that what ever infection you have could be partially resistant to the flagyl. when you pee does it come out normal or does it kind of spray out? also can you feel any hard lumps in the head or shaft or your penis?
