I had my estradiol checked the day before my period was supppsed to start and it was 70. But I never had a period so who knows. Am now finally spotting after three months of nothing!
Have you had the derealization? This is what scares me the most. Feeling like I'm not in reality.

Yeah I was just curious. I've had two kids and post partum depression both times.
Anyone else feel like their vision/head still feels weird? Like things are slightly distorted, sensitive to light, head feels heavy and dizzy and off.
Yes I did have dereslization during my first 3 months. I felt very numb, disconnected, and depressed. I'd never experienced true depression until getting off the pill. I still have moments where I'm detached, but I know with every month that passes I'm making progress so I don't pay it too much attention because I know it'll get better. At first these new feelings were so hard to cope with. It used to make me panic, I felt so broken like all the damage the pill caused was irreversible and that I was stuck like this. When you start to have more better days than bad it gives you a more positive outlook. I'll be 6 months off on the 26th.

Yes. I had so many head symptoms when first got off. Plugged ear, blocked sinus, mega head pressure, tension, vision changes, brain fog, inability to concentrate. I couldn't even read a paragraph. I'm the type who reads daily so yes that was alarming.
I ended up having to get glasses. Then as more time passed the prescription became too strong. Now I barely need them at all. I went from needing them everyday because I couldn't see at a distance which really threw me off.
My eyes were so sensitive to light that it scared me to watch the sun rise or set. That change in lighting alone- from light to darkness or darkness to light made me so uncomfortable. anyone who hasn't experienced actual hormonal imbalance would never understand.
I still get head pressure but it's very faint when compared to how bad it got in the beginning so I'm grateful that it does get better. Unfortunately time, relaxation, and supplements are the only things that make us better. That and supportive friends/ family. Take care

Oh my gosh, same here. I can hardly stand brightly lit places, it's AWFUL. And I took my dog for a night walk and all the street lights had a horrible glare. Did you notice that at all?

Well, i thought it was almost over. Hadnt felt the anxiety or depression for a couple of months but then it came back tonight. All of a sudden i got that dizzy out of it feeling, so dizzy i had to sit for a minute. Then after that i got the heart palpitations and felt all heavy and faint and light headed all at the same time. Because when it does come on i basically shut myself down and want to curl up in a ball and succumb to it my husband tries to talk me passed it which is good..makes me walk around and get moving instead of sitting there and letting it take over which i think maybe helps but i dont know.
I have had every test done under the sun including hormones but everything is normal, except being low on zinc but not sure if that has anything to do with it. I also have head pressure and for the last few months every morning i wake up with a blocked nose and feel like have a head cold when i dont, it disappears after i get up and walk around a bit but makes if very hard to get up in the morning - feel soo tired. I also have had tinnitus ever since and a feeling of pressure in the head, has anyone experienced this? I have had 3 proper periods and thought it would go back to normal after one but i have to admit its a lot better than before. I have been on the pill for approx 28 years and the only break i had was 8 years ago to have a baby but never had any problems back then..

Yes! I've had tinnitus since stopping and a pressure in my head too. Mostly on the right side and centers around my right eye. Almost a numb feeling sometimes.
When did your first period come back? Right away? Or did it take a while? I'm just now having my first full-blown period (Four months off the pill) and desperately hoping things will look up once it ends. Or that my body is at least balancing.

My head feels bad all the time. Or especially on my period now. It's like I'm constantly lightheaded and foggy and have this weird pressure in my face and head. Sort of a combo of being drunk and numb. It's freaking awful.

I've had bad upper back pain for three weeks also, did you have any issues like that? -Shyla
Also did anyone feel like their heart rate was higher during all of this? Mine is especially high right now on my period.
