Feeling of something in throat when I swallow

I have pain in my throat under my chin deep inside my throat. Everytime I swallow I feel something sharp move. I also have a burning in my upper spine when this happens with floaters, I have had a ct done that came back normal. I think I could be a broken hyoid bone or broken cartlage in my throat. It causes me severe anxiety, its even hard to eat and drink for me. I started to notice my problems after having a baby. It was a very hard labor to the point my pelvis was separated and fractured. I was pushing very hard for hours with my chin to my chest. I think that damaged something in my throat. Hope we call can one day get a answer!! God bless to all!!

You have tonsil stones (tonsilloliths) I know because I get these often, they are not harmful in anyway just annoying. Nothing to worry about, though there are ways to get them out/prevent getting more:
Some people choose to dislodge tonsil stones at home with the use of picks or swabs.
Gargling with warm, salty water may help ease the discomfort of tonsillitis, which often accompanies tonsil stones.

Did you ever find out with this is? I know it sounds gross but I told have had some lump like feeling and so today I put my finger in behind my tongue, far in the my throat in the right side I feel a bone like cartilage like thing. Nothing noted on the other side. Of course my anxiety levels are raised and I am worried sick! Any helpful info would be great.

P.S,
Prior to this I did sneeze a few times and once it felt like I bruised my inside throat muscles.

I have been to a few ent doctors and all are clueless to what it is. They said they seen no stones, or anything else that looks out of the ordinary. It sounds like you have kinda what I have with the sharp feeling inside but I jusu cant touch mine I think there is something broken. I can feel the sharp thing then feel my throat make a frog noise when I swallow. My ent said she thinks there is something wrong they just have find the right test to find it. My husband also felt it. Sometimes when I place my finger on the right side of my throat under my chin I can feel a pop. I will let you guys know if I find out what it is. I wont give up cause I know what you all are going through and its not fun. God bless!!!!

It sounds like your hyoid bone, its what your tounge is attached to. Its a small flexible bone that is shaped like a horse shoe. You could have a tumor on it. Hope this helps some, God bless!!

What happened sorry just concerned cause my husband sounds like he has the same symptoms but for longer like 5 years or so he's gone tomorrow finally it got worse hope everything went well I will pray for you tonifht

Has your husband ever done weight lifting or any kind of thing to have his neck pressed up against his chest? that is what happened to me and now I have a lump or feeling something in my throat. Have him get checked out by a ent and they can scope his throat going through his nose while he is awake . it shows the vocal cords and behind his throat. Will be praying!!!

Mine feels like a dry cough. I cough so much and then I start dry heaving and it is usually like a clear liquid. Been happening for about a month now and started suddenly. I have bad acid reflux and have taken prilosec for years. I now take Nexium. About 2 weeks ago it felt like something was in my throught and moved from left, to right, to middle. Today feels like there is something in the middle of my throat that wants to almost crawl out. My daughter's graduation is on the 26th and I am not gonna miss that since she is 15 and graduating with a 4.17 GPA and two years of college under her belt but on the 27th I will be in the Emergency room to get this checked out. I smoke and drink but nothing should make me dry heave and throw up and nothing should feel like it is alive in my throat and trying to crawl out. If anyone has gone through this, let me know. Thx for any help u can provide between now and the 26th.
