here is a quick update on my status,

Prilosec did not help.

I did see an ENT specialist. He stuck a camera down my throat and saw bubbles vocal fold, false vocal folds. He said that its inflammation. Put me on more Prilosec and Amoxicillin. I did not want to take another more medications (too much can damage my liver and kidney) so I told my primary physician to give me an order for H Pylori test.

I did the H Pylori test and the result was positive. My primary physician put me on the following meds,
1) Amoxicillin (2 capsules twice daily for 14 days)
2) Clarithromyc (1 capsule twice daily for 14 days)
3) Omeprazole (1 capsule twice daily for 30 days) Generic for Prilosec (PPI)

Just finished with them but the symptom hasn't gone away. I'm going to go see my primary physician today and will request for another order of the H Pylori test. I have to wait 2 to 3 weeks before I can go do the test (H Pylori test requires 2-week gap from PPI med).

The symptom was less discomfort when I was on the triple medication.

I did another H Pylori test last week, and the result came back negative.

However, I still experience the initial symptom, like something is stuck in my throat. I do feel more gassy but burp a lot less. I have an appointment with another ENT next Wed. The last ENT at UCLA Medical Center stuck a camera down my throat and immediately concluded that I have GERD due to bubbles found on the surface surround the vocal opening. I was giving medication to take but asked for an H Pylori test instead.

I've started drinking more kale juice (from blending kale). It seems to help reduce the feeling of symptom.

My HDL is extremely low, not sure if thats the root cause. anyone here has low HDL? We can try to collect everyone current health status and find similarity to zone in on the root cause.

I'll keep you guys updated.

Please share your update.
