I am having the same problem. I believe it to be Tonsil stones and I am going to get it checked out soon, you know like go see a Doctor of Medical Science. But now I am going to be brutally honest with you all, it bothers me that so many people on here seem to believe that praying is the fix or the remedy to this or other medical issues. Uh, no its not. Go to the doctor, you know the one who has been practicing with this stuff for countless years. Whispering your words to a grand sky wizard does nothing, but make you feel better mentally. When you go to the doctor he doesn't sit you down and pray your Infections and diseases away. "Hey, lets pray your pancreatic cancer away. This will work." - Said no doctor ever. Also whenever there is a cure to a disease, how many times have you said "Oh it must of been Jesus" or "Well God cured another WOO." That also didn't happen. People who spend there lives researching and poring over information are the people who Cure and fix things. How can god or jesus be coined with both the creation of disease and the cure of disease. Now many of you will be like "Oh well this was gods will" "Oh well, he put disease on here in order for us to find a cure." Just because you are all afraid of death and really really want there to be something after this life, does not mean it exists. So start reading books and for that matter most of you need to read the one book you believe in, then after that read some more books. You are hindering the advancement of humans and plaguing society in a Sociological way besides the Tonsil stones. Get your sh*t together.

This is happening to me, too.  I've Googled images of throat cancer, and I'm worried that may be what I have.  I am going to see an ENT ASAP.

Tonight I was eating pizza and something went to the back of the left side of my throat and stuck there. It is lower than and separate from my windpipe or my normal swallowing. I've never, ever had anything go there at all before. I drink water and swallow, but it won't go away. I am not choking. I just feel it in the left side of my throat beneath my ear, as if it is in a strange pocket I did not know was even there. Any ideas?

Hi Everyone,

I have had a lump sensation on the left side of my for about 19 months now, along with that, when I swallow I hear a clicking sound.  I have had an upper GI done and was told I have mild esophogitis.   I have also had an ENT look down my throat several times, to tell me I have acid reflux, post nasel drip, and swollen Lingual tonsils.   I have been taking Nexium this whole time and nothing has changed in my throat.  This bothersome in my throat will not reside at all, it actually feels better when im eating.  Im at a stand point as to what to do, it bothers me me so much and there is nothing any of my doctors are really doing for me at this point other than prescribing me acid reflux medication.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm currently going through this as well and I am freaking out because my throat and jawline swells some too. I've been going through this for 9 years now. All the doctors I've seen for this in the past diagnosed me with pharyngitis...one doc even had the balls to tell me it was in my head! I didn't go back to him after that. Another doc said acid reflux and prescribed me antacids and prednisone and that actually seemed to help. But I'm back to square one...being uncomfortable.. Good luck everyone. Glad I'm not alone it this..

thank you!!!! I just experienced the exact same thing! Swallowed and heard/felt a pop on my right side of throat. Subsequent pain swallowing and to the touch. Lately I've been feeling preflu like symptoms such as fatigue, soreness etc. This post has helped greatly! It has eased my mind!
