How bad did your lip look while healing from the TCA? Was it extremely noticeable where you did it?

Well I ddnt end up doing the test spot last night so there's nothing to report about. I'll be doing it tonight do I have the weekend to check it out.

Nothing really. I guess the 25% isn't strong enough. I put it on and it turned white then the next day was fine. It did peel, but just a little bit and it didn't remove them. I'm going to thr plastic surgeon tomorrow so I'm gonna see what he says before I try the TCA again. My spots have been pretty unnoticeable yhe last week so I'm hoping it stays. Idk why they look so much better, but I assume they will come back out and when they do I will hopefully get them zapped with the laser.

If you have thick skin, maybe you need something even stronger than 50%.
It goes all the way up to 100% but 50% worked for me, im 118 days clear

1. Apply it and let sit for a few seconds, then do a few more applications.
2. Do not wash off
3. Let it sit all night

I'm gonna hit my worst spot with the 25 tonight and see what happens. I was really careful to only do a tiny spot last time because I wasnt sure what would happen. I also went to the plastic surgeon and had a VERY promising talk... I am late for work but I will go into detail on my break in a few hours. People lets keep working on this and get it done

How did it go? I went to the derm and got Tazorac .1 gel yesterday. I used it last night, didn’t dry my lips out the way i thought it would. They feel smoother than usual actually. I will try it every other day for a few weeks and report my findings. DM - how long did it take for you to notice a difference from the Taz?

A few weeks or so, not long. You have to get the current oil out of there too. The Tazorac usually helps a lot with the appearance and reduces the oil producing activity of the sebaceous gland but that old oil needs to be released somehow, hence the TCA acid. DO NOT POP or SQUEEZE or STICK A NEEDLE to get it out. This caused scars for me that took forever to go away. I would apply 50% TCA to a few spots in addition to the tazorac then see how you react and your results

Idk when I’m going to be able to do that. I work with in an office that has an open environment, low cubicle walls, and a lot of face to face interaction. I’ll see how this goes for a few weeks then decide.

How big are your spots? Like little dots? Or patches of dots that form bigger spots?
