I am in the middle of finding out why my abdomen has been causing me so much trouble. So far all my blood work has come back normal. I had an Endoscopy and there is nothing wrong there. I am having an ultrasound on Friday for gallbladder/pancreas/liver. I guess I am a bit nervous only in terms of thinking about liver or pancreatic cancer. I am a 32 year old male and would not think that I was at an age where this was very common. I have burning pain in upper right quadrant of the stomach (under rib) and have had a "knot" in my right shoulder blade as well. I have had the knot in the right shoulder blade for YEARS however and now think I may have been letting a condition go for too long. I work out 6 days a week and always thought it was just muscular pain from the weight work I do. Any thoughts would be appreciated to calm my nervous mind. I should mention I do smoke occassionally and am a moderate drinker.
I have had that very same knot in my right shoulder blade, though I experience a large amount of pain from it. I also have stomach problems. About a year and a half ago i had my gallbladder removed and Since then everything has gone downhill. From stomach pain to cramping to intestinal blockage ( which causes a great deal of pain). also I experience nausea, and constant bloating. I would like to know how everything turns out for you. especially the cause for the back pain. I do not do strenuous workouts I have been to physical therapy been on meds and tried stregthening and to no avail. everything makes it worse.
