I have been on Beyaz for six years and I notice I felt great!! Very upbeat, happy, my acne clears up, I felt amazing in it. In last year I have notice serious hair loss and I getting a bald spot. I have notice all of the sudden my hair will fall out tons and then strands like twenty comes out. I'm having break through bleeding too.. I have had blood work and everything is normal.. Please help!!!
Hi , my experience is that after being off of Yaz for one and a half years , my hair hasn't stopped falling out and has thinned to nothing. All your side effects aren't in your head, and most doctors DO NOT believe it.
I too, took myself off Yaz. was on other contraception for seven years prior and never had any issues.
Seek some help with a cosmetic dermatologist or homeopath if neccessary.

I'm having the same problem. I've been on tax for 7 years and loved it. This last year I've lost a ton of hair. All my blood work shows I have no underlying issues. What birth control did you switch to after tax? Did it make you break out?

Hey, same thing happened to me at 22. Hope you've resolved your problem by now but I got off Yaz and take 10g of my-inositol, vitamin b50 and 5000 mcg of biotin. Takes some time but my hair stopped falling and have seen some regrowth. It's not as thick as it used to be but I'm still relieved. Good luck!

I too experienced major shedding while on Yaz and it wasn’t until I stopped it did the shedding finally sto!
Once the shedding finally slowed down after stopping Yaz I did notice regrowth.
A Ferritin of 5 WILL cause Telogen Effluvium!! You should check with your doctor about iron supplementation. It takes a while (months) to replenish your iron stores and also for your body to recognize the normal levels once they are reached. Dermatologists recommend ferritin of 70-100 for hair loss to stop and regrowth to kick back in! Good luck!
My hair in not growing. Does Yaz prevent your hair from growing?
You shouldn't cut it while it's thinning if it's permanent it won't grow back after wards. I can tell you that because everyone In my family cut there thinning hair and it just never grew back
