Hey there,

A few months ago I found a hard lump on my right scrotum. I am a sexually active 28 year old male. I am afraid that this is a genital wart. I keep in contact with my partners and none of them have told me about warts. Any way the lump is the size of a pea and when I squeeze it feels like a hard pebble under the skin of the scrotum. When the skin is strectched it is smooth and hard, but when it goes back to normal it is very noticable and shinny. When I squeezed it nothing really came out. It's also flesh colored and there is only one. Help!!!!!!!!!!! What is it?
I have a very similar hard white lump that popped up before I became sexually active so I'm pretty possitve that you don't have an STD. I somehow managed to break whatever it is inside into two pieces so its not puss. My only guess is a calcium deposit. I never bothered with getting it checked. I've had it for about 3 years now and it has stayed the same. Serious problems will change in time so just keep an eye on it and if it doesn't change then I wouldn't worry about it. If it is serious then it will worsen, spread or change shape. Kind of like when a mole changes size, shape or color it could be a sign that it needs to be removed for cancer concerns. If you remain uncomfortable about it then don't hesitate to get it checked out. Better safe than sorry.

Hey everyone. I am 18 years old and sexually active but I was sure that this wasn't an std. I've been on this site for a while now reading about this bump as I too just had one but no longer have it. I had it for about 3-4 months, and it bugged me, but finally grew the guts to remove it myself. I picked at it with a pretty thin needle for a while, which even though it began to bleed alot, there was little to no pain at all. Eventually I made a cut big enough to sqeeze the insides out, and I did just that. A white little ball like substance came out, and that was it. I then cleaned myself and I no longer have a bump. :) goodluck if you're going to try this yourself. Be safe and make sure the needle is clean. I feel better already. :)
