Has anyone had heavy implantation bleeding?

I think you are right about the body being wacky when ttc. With my first child I didn't think about getting pregnant and it happened with no bleeding whatsoever. So I have been ttc with hubby for two months now. My first just turned one and I still breastfeed. I finally got my period back 3 months ago and it was March 17 and April 17. Well on the 12 (mother's day) I got my 'period' very light but not spotting with no cramps either. Today is the 5th day and yesterday it had turned to spotting. Tomorrow is the day I should have gotten said period. Very frustrating. I would like to think I am pregnant but am probably not this time around. I'm sure I just need to relax and take it day by day. And all the other posts I have looked at just ended up with nobody posting back. Good luck to you all!

Hi everyone Just to give you an update, as promised - I got my BFP this morning! Had strong hopes up on Saturday morning with a very faint line - and then the digital test confirmed it today (Monday). The biggest symptom was really really bad cramps last Thursday, as bad as the worst period pain - so bad that it gave me diarrhea (which I get from cramps generally). I thought it was early period cramping (period is due tomoz, Tuesday) and was totally gutted - but it now seems likely it was implantation. It was heaps stronger pain than I'd expected, that's for sure. As for symptoms and testing, on the assumption that that was implantation, I got a very very VERY faint BFP on Sat morning - so ~48 hours after implantation. The strong positive digital one was about 96 hours post-implantation - 4 days. As for how that compares to DPO, we don't know exactly when I ovulated (seems like we were too early with our estimation in the past two months) - it was most likely on 23 May, so that means I got a faint positive 9dpo, and a good one 11dpo. Days 10-11dpo I had mild but constant nausea - like feeling carsick - slightly full feeling in my bladder area, and really aching private parts (TMI!) The only thing we did differently this month was to try later in my cycle - I just started tracking my temperature at CD20, but if you are really keen I'd recommend doing that from now on because it's surprising how much clearer your temperature is as a sign of ovulation than even the OPKs. Oh, and I was worried about my CM being too thick, so I took over the counter guaifenesin for a few days around suspected ovulation. I reckon if made a difference - I saw really obvious EWCM for the first time. Good luck to everyone! Any questions, shoot them my way - here's hoping the little bean sticks! Elizabeth

I am very happy I came across this post. Hubby and I have been TTC for the 5th month. Period due on Friday (7 June).

 

However since Monday - light pink spotting (only when I wipe), yesterday light red spotting, just marks on pantyliner (sorry tmi). This morning first time to the loo - bright red blood dripping .. totally freaked out.

Then nothing else... little bit of brown spotting but only when I wipe.

 

I have a very regular cycle 25 days .. never had spotting or 'bleeding' this early. I usually have very little brown bits when I wipe the day before AF is due which will be tomorrow then a little more + dark blood the day AF is due (sorry tmi)

Could this be implantation bleeding ?? any thoughts will be much appreciated - just to add been battling with a yeast infection since Thursday last week

So im kind of freaking out, ive been ttc for about 10 months now and this last month I got my period may 19th and was supposed to come june 8th. I have a 30 day cycle every month since ive ever had a period. Im not on bc and my fiance and I did the deed plenty of times during my ovulation days (june 2-6) and the day before my period was due I only had light cramping. As opposed to my usual heavy cramps and painful breasts. Today my period was six days late and out of no where I started getting horrible cramps and a heavy red and brown flow. Its been about 5 hours and im confused. Is this a period or implantation bleeding. Sorry aboutputting so much information in this but any advice or opinions would be amazing(:

Hi I am posting here today in the hopes that someone out there has gone through what I am currently going through. I am 22 years old, married and my husband and I tried for our first time . I am 4 days late and started light spotting a today. I have also been having headaches for the past three days and fatigue for the past week. I took a pregnancy test today and it was negative. I used the early response digital. I am worried that I may not be pregnant because of the light spotting. This would be my first pregnancy and I don't know if this is normal or considered a period. I have a very precise cycle and I have never been late before nor have I ever had light spotting. I hope someone can shed some light my way on this. Thanks.

I don't know how active this thread is but I have been searching the web for days for a place where people actually post updates. I would really like to share my story here. And any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated. I wasn't TTC. I had unprotected sex on the 20th and 30th of June and on July 1st. I checked to see when I was ovulating because on the 2nd of July, I just didn't feel right, I didn't feel like myself. The 30th of June was "estimated" to be my last ovulation day. Well on July 4th, I got constipated and gassy, horribly. I started having to pee every hour. And not just a little, a whole lot. I felt extremely exhausted. And I had actually been dieting, didn't have a huge appetite and now I can't get enough food. I also had a strange taste in my mouth for three days. Had never experienced anything like that. I'm not prone to acne, but started breaking out on my chest the same time all the symptoms started. Basically everything hit at once. I was scared at first, and didn't want to be pregnant. but now... I really do...and on July 9th, I started bleeding. My period isn't due until on or about the 15th. The first day was so incredibly light, watery pink, didn't need any tampons or anything. Second day turned to dark blood, heavier, didn't fill a regular tamp and then completely stopped mid day. Today it started back, really dark and foul smelling. Lasted an hour, not heavy but has stopped again. There wasn't a flow to it, just there the most when I wiped or pee'd. My periods are not like this at all. First day when it was really light, I had mild cramping but it was painful due to the constipation and gas pain. There is no cramping anymore but I can still feel.. I don't know, spasms or stretching and have for a few days. Not painful, more of an annoyance. My breasts do feel fuller, my bra is digging into them now and I just feel so bloated. But my hopes are down and I tested negative today on a FRER. I've never experienced any of this before and I really do want to be pregnant. :(

I just wanted to know if you have sex during ovulation week & ur period comes two weeks early ( 5 days after sex ) & it had brown spots BUT ur actual day for ur a period did not come is that sign on pregnancy or will ur period to back to normal the next month ? this is happening to me right now cuz I had sex July 13 & had cycle early ... my period was actually due at the end of July but did not show up ' my breast hurt on the sides on & off for over a week now since my eat period ended & I been having sharp pains in my uterus & sides ! ' last night I had a white discharge too . possibly pregnant ? need help ladies ( : thanks !

Hi Everyone, I'm new in this forum. I'm glad i found this forum that is active, replying to all queries and even sharing their experiences, signs and symptoms. I just want to share my experience. I'm taking BCP for a year and just stop taking it last June. Had my AF June 4 and I was supposed to take BCP last june 12 but my husband and I decided to TTC. Then had my next AF July  7th. I was 3 days late, thinking that BFP messed up my cycle. My husband and I had sex during ovulation week. We're following Shettles method (trying to conceive a GIRL this time). starting last week...I feel breast tenderness, sore nipples, back pain, hungry, cramps, heartburn, bloated and I feel soooo tired then start spotting/period? not sure

August 1 (thursday)- I had brown spot. thinking that my AF due on  August 7th. (7 days advance? mmmm?)

August 2 (Friday)- becomes bright red spot

August 3 (Saturday)- become heavier red and mucousy,starting to use pads

August 4 (Today)- still using pads but its lighter now, still feeling breast tenderness, back pain, hungry, cramps, heartburn, bloated and still feeling tired . no dizziness. I'm confused if this is AF ( 1 week advanced) or what they call Implanted bleeding?

I'm planning to take pregnancy test (first response early result) on August 7th due date for my AF. I am crossing my fingers and toes I get BFP this month. i'll update you all! wishing everybody to get BFP! Baby dust for all of you!;-)

Thanks Ladyjxker103! I had HPT this morning but sad to say its negative. I was supposed to have my AF Aug 7 but I had bleeding Aug 1 thinking that it is implantation. I think what I had last Aug 1 was AF not Implantation bleeding :( My husband and I are focusing on my next ovulation. well, that's the way to cookie crumbles....Thanks Again!

Hello all ^__^ I found this active thread. I wanted to know has anyone heard of a late implantation bleed? Sorry in advance (TMI). Me and my bf have been ttc for several months, and the strangest thing happened to me this month. I also have had to mc before several years ago and took a break from ttc until recently. Normally before my period comes I do get pregnancy symptoms especially the sore boobs, and my periods are normally extremely heavy with lots of clots to the point that at times I have to wear both a tampon and a pad during the evening when I sleep to make sure it doesn't go through my clothes :-/. It normally starts with spotting and then by the next day it will get really heavy and i'll end up soaking at least 4-5 tampons a day until it begins to stop. Although my periods are occasionally 1-2 days late, this month it was 5 days late. On the 4th day (during the evening I had a sharp throbbing pain that lasted about 2 min. in what I assume was my ovaries. On the 6th day I began spotting light pink so i thought perhaps I had a wacky cycle and that af was surely to begin but it didn't. The next day it became slightly heavier and turned to a bright red so I put a tampon on just in case but later on when I used the bathroom it only covered the tip of the tampon. I also noticed a few droplets of bright red blood in the toilet but that was it. I also only noticed the blood when I wiped which never happened to me before. Over the course of several days it changed colors from light pink, bright red and brown. I continued wearing a tampon expecting for it to come in full force as always but it never happened. I had only about 3 tiny clots instead of the big ones that I normally get, they were smaller then half of a penny.. I also noticed that my boobs never became sore this month like they always do. The bleeding that I had lasted for 6 days and was to light to be my period. It wasn't even enough to fill a panty liner (only a few light spots), and I only saw it when I (TMI) wiped and stuck a tissue all the way up to where my cervix was... After it stopped most symptoms went away but, I am now having small cramps which aren't painful but uncomfortable enough to notice, lots of heart burn and gas. I also get occasional nausea, and I have been using the bathroom a little bit more then I should. I'm just so confused atm because I took a test on the 3rd days that af was late and got a bfn, yet I have this crazy light bleed that has never happened to me before... I do remember bleeding for my other 2 pregnancies and each time I thought they were early periods. Is it possible to have a late implantation bleed and maybe that's why it came up negative though? Should I test again or do you all think that it was just a wacky light af? I am also worried because I am a smoker and do not want to put my baby in jeopardy if I am :(. I have been trying to cut a lot of it out little by little since that weird bleed but if I have to stop cold turkey then I will....  Im sorry for the long post and the TMI im just worried, excited and confused all at once :(.
