I am 34 yr and have Hashimos Disease, I will be having my thyroid out on Saturday, I was just wondering if there is anything else besides surgery? I have been on leverthyroxine for more than four years and I get needle biospy every year which just says the disease i have, the only thing is I am maxed out on my medicine due to my rapid heartbeat I get everytime my medicines micrograms are upped.
For a while my lumps stopped growing so fast but they arfe still growing in fact I have so many noduales and one is more than 6cm, it sounds huge but I don't know. It's up to me to have it removed or not, my TSH,T3 and T4 are always normal but i am still draggin ASS by the middle of the day. Any suggestions??
Hi there, I don't know if there's anything you can do aside from surgery but It might be worth discussing with your surgeon to see if you can do something else. Or rather, you might also want to talk to your physician because a surgeon may be likely to tell you that there's no option other than surgery. Have oyu consulted with a physician about it?
