Ive dranked redbull everyday for over a year. I had a newborn baby and believe me the energy helps. Then it became somewhat as an addiction. Its in my routine to wake up, crack open a redbull. Same as someone who drinks coffee everyday. It also helped me lose alot of my baby weight. I continued to drink this energy drink for quite sometime. Up to 2 12oz cans a day. Recently I have been having stomach pain. To the point where it stops me in my tracks. I have bubbling going on in there, vomtting on occasion. There is a bug going around I figured it was that. Now reading these posts im going to see a doctor.

Thank you for posting back... I am having similar issues recently. I drink about 1 can per day, however I am a very skinny guy so not much weight on me :) Going to cut out the energy drinks completely to see if the problems go away.

I drank a half a can of NOS earlier on an empty stomach. I keep burping but not your regular burps. They are light burps that dont last long. I do this about 20 times a minute. Ive only had NOStwice and im just starting to feel this

DJ Cross, I am in the same boat as you. I am a college student who used to work out alot (I stopped about 2 yrs ago though because I felt like I was investing time in something that I would regret by age 30) but I used to measure my carbs, fat, and all that. Nonetheless, I am still a student and at times over the past year when I have had to stay up late to finish assignments I would take a Low Carb Monster, it made me feel super human for a bit. I started to notice that my burps felt a bit dry. I started to notice that I was burping alot. It got worse, my burping got so out of control that when if I don't burp my head and other body parts would feel like I am about to explode (like if my nerves or veins were gnna pop). This usually happens when I consume sodium. I think it can even damage your liver and whole body. In the past i could eat pizza, hamburgers, fries, and i could eat fast or tasty stuff, but now I just eat subway and I am gluten free. But today I made the mistake of drinking a red bull at noon (my first redbull ever which was included as a gift with one of my books I got from Chegg). I didnt feel bad during the day after drinking it but when I came back from my run at 10pm, I began to burp. It is 5:40am and I cant stop burping. I am so pissed off by the damage that energy drinks have done to me. I am even embarrased to have gf now... Not to mention how much it sucks that my neighbors probably hear me burping over 60 times everyday. Prior to this site i googled my symptoms and results showed that it is possible that diuretics might help temporarily relieve my dry burping that was caused by todays energy drink. Now that i think about it I have noticed that aloe vera drinks make my stomach feel good.

Like everyone else on here, I drink a energy drink each morning before the gym.  Despite abs exercises, my stomach aches and is bloated. I guess from the carbonated drinks.  Anyway, can I take over-the-counter anti-gas medication with the energy drinks to alleviate, to get the pep without the gas.

So I'm 15 and I drink at least 3 cans of monster or relentless a day for about the last 5momths and recently I'm getting stomach cramps, I mean it may be because (sorry about saying this) it's my time of the month (which I hope that's why I'm getting pain) bt I never usually get stomach cramps or any kind of pain at all but I've beenmixing energy drinks with tranexamic and mefenamic acid tablets so I'm not sure if its some sort of reaction?

I have been in and out of hospital with pancrities and other similar conditions I don't think they could actually pin what it was till this last stay they kept me over night and I have for the last couple years drank 1 or 2 monsters every day cause I work nights and it was what got me thru. Well im now sitting in such a mess of dr bills I cant afford any more due to them having to due ultrasounds and cat scans and labs and emergency visits.. it would get so painful they had to put me on moriphen. I haven't had a energy drink for weeks almost a month and I haven't had to take a pain pill for 3 days and I finally feel almost ok I still have a slight pain off and on. but yes its energy drinks ive drank them since they came out and really heavy the past 3 years and warn your loved ones and all.. I now have less life to live due to them. There worse than beers and have actually got me to stop drinking alcoholic drinks cause it added to my pain. good in a way yet bad.. I am confident in my thoughts the energy drinks caused this. And Ive got one hell of a way to handle it. came to me when I sat in the hospital bed all night thinking I had a cancer and I was going to die cause my pain was so terrible. makes you think and with help from above and my prayers things I need are just falling right in my lap.

I have Celiac, but I noticed recently that my stomach hurts ever time I eat. I have also started drinking a monster ultra each day, along around 15 cups of coffee per day. I am thinking that it is the addition of the Monster that is making my stomach hurt so bad. There are days that it brings me to tears.

My son was drinking energy drinks every day. Recently he became quite ill with stomach pain and vomiting and had to be taken to the Emergency Dept at the Hospital. It seems the drinks were the culprit as they had started eroding his stomach lining. The Dr. told us that they were seeing more and more cases of people being admitted to hospitals because of these drinks. They had a case of a girl who spent 40 days in Intensive Care as her stomach had ruptured from drinking them. I suggest you stick to water.
