With one testicle, 100% of the issue is in you mind. 2nd never dropped, was removed for safety around 6 years old. Never has a girl had a a problem, and once I got beyond the "mental issues" in my mid teens, I realized the 1 works absolutely fine. Passed 50 years old now, still working great, healthy kids, "super model" wife, all is good. Don't ever let having 1 make you think it's a weakness.

Another uniballer. I have never been open about it for the same reasons as others express. Teenage years you have enough self-image concerns without adding this in. It did make me feel like half a man - until I fathered a child. Not that I thought I would not be able to, just that it's outward proof that you are a man. After children, I didn't care what my junk was like. Even now, after having separated from his mother, I joined a nudist club "to step outside the comfort zone". It's all in the head, because actually the nudists are an elevation above normal people as they don't have weird hangups about body-image or sex and nudity etc. It's probably the last place anyone will notice strangely enough. Because they are totally past looking at people's body shapes. Ironic really. They accept scars, fat, abnormalities, etc all as normal.

When my son was born the mid-wife did the usual checks on the baby and said 'two testicles' to which I quipped 'lucky man. She looked at me in a way that said "the things your learn in this job" and carried on.
As a teen I would have been dancing naked on tables, been far more promiscuous and I think it was God's way of keeping me in-check. lol. I declined many invitations until perhaps I was about 25. Well not quite, a school-girl gave me a blow job at 18 and promised sex the next day. That was a fantastic experience, but I had to leave the next morning to return to work. She did not notice, despite having her hands all over me.
Having the internet would have been a massive help to self-confidence back then, as I finished my teens 40 years ago. This is the first time I have ever found such a good forum on precisely the concerns monorchids have. Answers from across the board.

I chose not to have a prosthetic. Well the choice was really only available to me at age about 40. Before that it had not been offered by anyone. From all I could find out I learned that they could be a different size, don't rise and fall like normal testes and are hard to the feel, so I thought it might be more obvious than not at all. Plus I imagined if I went deep sea diving or into space or something it could be a liability.
These days I suppose you could have a POV camera inserted or a James Bond escape kit installed by Q!

I went through all the same concerns about penis growing, hair growing, voice deepening, getting an adam's apple and all that stuff. After that was all over, I discovered I was a) a late developer and b) a non-hairy body type. This probably exacerbated my growth concerns, because some stuff was just never going to be there anyway. However all the usual whiskers, hairs, voice and penis characteristics engaged eventually. A bit off topic here but informational. Like almost every man I thought my penis could do with being longer. Not till 50 I learnt of foreskin restoration and gave that a go. Blow me down if stretching the outer skin didn't give me an immediate 1/2" of extra penis length, as I learnt that my circumcision had basically been too tight for my eventual growth. I did have a feeling of tightness, but had always thought nature would have sorted that over the years, but apparently not!

Everybody likes to have some justification that they are not the only one in their situation. Hence this forum post I guess. I used to look at porn and then drifted to looking at the guys, trying to find ones with one ball. Eventually I did. Porn stars and people posting on tumblr. Not as much satisfaction as these discussions but some form of verification. Since becoming a nudist I don't care too much for porn and find the nicest pictures are mother and child or families naked at the beach, even if nothing is showing. It is just the pure innocence and acceptance and naturalness and comfortableness of the whole picture.

I got nicknames at boarding school, and my home town I'm sure, still has people who believe some false rumour about me. I don't live there any more, so don't care.
I can back up that no girl has ever used it as a barrier. The only partner to raise it was a medical scientist, so probably doing the anatomy check for comfort's sake. But it wasn't a problem once I confirmed the discovery. One girlfriend used to say quaint private jokes if I was sitting on a swiss ball or something, and I quite liked that as a form of acceptance.

So my general summary would be: don't tell anyone at school unless you are the open and confident type, (because school age kids will give you cheek); you can hold off sex until you leave school at 17 or whatever as it's probably not the best girls that are putting out then anyway; don't get a prosthetic and think all will be normal or if you do, wait until you've stopped growing in mid-20's (the only exception perhaps being if you have torsion or cancer and can actually have one inserted at the same time as the operation); excel in other areas than nakedness; you can be a magnificent sexual partner if you read up how to do the right thing and communicate with your lady; be thankful you have sight, hearing, and are not afflicted with a mental illness or spinal disease; tell yourself you are bigger than a single missing item that's hidden away; get medical advice when a situation is concerning you; and seek comfort in forums such as these.

As far as telling the girl goes, I really don't know how to do that. I never have, but I do confirm it if/when she notices. Perhaps you can be cocky and say I am looking forward to sharing all our secrets together in bed. Then when you are hands on you can say I'll tell you one if you tell me one. On the other hand, probably better for it to be no big deal and just blurt it out, then it's all plain sailing after that. The thing is girls don't ever say "he's got the nicest ball-sack I've ever seen" - they really just think of it as a wrinkly bag hanging under the human dildo.

A good friend once gave me the advice that you look at your life in boxes like tik-tak-toe (noughts and crosses), i.e.9 squares. You might break it up into career, girlfriend, health & fitness, friends, family, money, hobby, church & community, qualifications, etc. Whatever the important parts of your life are. When one goes bad, you don't let it bring you down, you just put more energy into the others for a while until you reach equilibrium again. If you put the truly important things in the squares, it can really help you overcome disappointment in one area.

Sorry if this is so long. Some might think TL;DR. It helped me to join this discussion and I hope it helps another person with one ball. Apparently 1 in a hundred are born that way and something like 4 in a hundred don't come right. But then add in all the later traumas like injury, testicular torsion and cancer and it brings the numbers up again. So it's certainly not rare.

Hi, for as long as I can remember I have had 1 testicle. I really haven't told anyone on the matter and I'm not sure if I need to. I have considered many times talking to my parents about it but I seem to always avoid that talk because it would definitely be quite awkward. I'm not sure what to do next as far as letting someone know about it. Im also not sure if it has happened during my life span past birth or I was born that way. I really don't know if I should tell someone, however I am curious about where the other one went. It's interesting to read about these other stories and I'm glad that I should be ok as being fertile so that I will someday be able to have children because that is one of my biggest goals in life. Thanks everyone!

I had to disqualify myself from having relationships with women . Not only did I suffer with this humiliating condition but I also had other serious heath issues as well . I suffered with chronic asthma which I carried from childhood to the present . So I had two different kinds of problems . One being phisical and the other was both mental and physical . I only told a couple of childhood friends this condition many years ago . What a mistake that was . Kids can be mean . I really hate to try to start a relationship because then I have to explain everything to a new person all over again . So I decided to be alone for the rest of my life . I'm really not physically fit to be anyone's boyfriend or husband. Sad , sad story .

Uno Here. In my late teens I noticed a small hard lump in my left testicle, and being a guy I ignored it, I was terrified and kept it a secret.

Fast forward to about 22, after dating my girlfriend for about a year and a half it had grown to almost 60% of my testicle, Whatever it was it was taking over my testicle from the inside, and it was starting to become sore. I drove a truck at work and one day everywhere I drove, I had to lift my arse off the seat because any little bump hurt.

I decided I had enough, I flat out told my girlfriend and she felt it and was like OMG you need to go to the doc now, so I went to the doc in the box who sent me to the urologist thr next morning and next thing I know, a day later it was completly removed because of a tumor.

The doc was certain it was cancer, but came back benign, that was the best news I had ever heard. He offered to schedule me up for a prosthetic, I chuckled and declined.

Im now 33 and have 2 beautiful kids with then gf, but now wife and everything works fine, its not a big deal.

In the end tom green is right, play with your balls but more importantly dont be scared to tell your parents or loved ones and your doc when you find a lump!!!! Had it been cancer I probable wouldnt be here today because I waited years to tell anyone!

Having One Testicle has zero effect on the sex life and the ability to have kids, but the doc did say to really protect that last one. So if your a parent reading this and have a kid with just one, their is nothing to worry about, but please make sure little johnny wears a cup when trying out for the baseball team. ; )

Both testicles do the same thing, Testosterone and swimmer sperm is what they are produce, alot of people think sperm and semen are the same thing, but thats false, semen comes from the prostate.

Anyways you have nothing to worry about my friend. All will be fine, its the first thing the doc followed up with me after saying those dreadful word "needs removed"

Was a little over 10 years ago and I'm now snipped because I have a son and daughter and its all I ever wanted and righty is still working strong.
