Hi Quinn! UTI's are VERY painful! I used to get bladder and kidney infections and it was just as bad as period cramps! So I KNOW you're not pregnant! And vaginal bleeding happens RARELY! I'm sure you have heard of so and so's sisters girlfriend who had a period all the way through her pregnancy!? Well it can happen, but it's not a period - as you stated it is vaginal bleeding - and it happens rarely! And it is never like a regular period! Also when they tested you for a uti, the bacteria and infection would show up and this would be the reason why you are hurting! After 3 days of being on antibiotics you should start to feel better! You're fine honey - well other that the UTI ;-) - so don't worry OK? Good luck and health!
Bambi - being the spaz that I am, I decided to take another test today. This time I took a First Response Gold, and I got negative. So if it isn't pregnancy, then why do I feel this way?
IF the antibiotics AREN'T helping, then I would suggest you going and getting a pelvic ultrasound! this will let you know if something - like an ovarian cyst! I still think it is from your UTI, but if it doesn't go away with the full 7 days of taking your antibiotics, then you need to get it checked out!
Ok my period isn't due for another 10 days but I'm having bad cramping, stomach sickness, tired all the time and uncomfortable at bedtime and having trouble sleeping. Does anyone have any advice or ideas?
