i have an answer for the head pressure, low energy, felling bad and just want to lay down, depressed due to this problem. I am 66 years of age and for the past 5 years, i have been miserable and depressed because i could not do anything for any amount of time before i would relapse and want to leave and go home. horrible .....but i did remember that i would get this feeling from my stomach that would come up into my chest then go away and relapse with my problem. after many dr visits to ear/and head specialists, nothing was found. My head pressure was the worst. it was like i was in an airplane and could not decompress my ears. I thought that the weather air pressure was the cause for years. This past january 1st, i had a bad bout of what was determined to be GERD. i did not ear for a week and lost 15 lbs. went to the gastrologist and had multiple test(upper and lower gi's). i quit drinking beer(casual drinking) and watch my diet pertaining to GERD. I HAVE NOT HAD A RECURRENCE of the problem since.(some minor accurance due to the food i was eating so i quit that food). I am a new person and feel great plus my blood pressure dropped to normal . i was on multiple HBP medicine and now I am on blood pressure meds.
ps: i have found out with personal experience that my blood pressure goes up during the months of the year when oak pollen is falling. hmmmm pollen does affect the your health and blood does it not ??? just a thought because a few years ago the first week of May when oak pollen was at it's peak, i went to the emergency room due to my bp being way up even when i was on 2 bp meds(ramipril and atenolol) and they ran the ct scans etc and i was fine but they put me on water pills. i went home and two weeks later after the pollen subsided my bp went back down the i stopped taking the water pill. During the next year i lost weight and exercised more and dropped the atenolol. well, the following year and the first week in may, my blood pressure went up again. That's when i lookup my records and saw that last year my bp went up this same time(same day i went to the ER the year before.. hmm
