Hi, I'm a 22 year old female that experiences this when I get incredibly stressed.  I'm in my very last month of undergrad in my university and the symptoms are there about 75% of the time.  I have gone to my doctor about this because it happened at a super high stress time of my life and he said it's anxiety.  Try to go see a therapist and talk it out if you're having anxiety about anything.  I know it sounds cheesy but it helps a lot.  try to go jogging or get some exercise too.  Also, try to limit your time on the computer and any electronics.  My dizziness is worse in the morning if I'm on the computer.  Unfortunately in college it's hard not to be typing something on your computer at all times.  Don't forget to keep your diet balanced and drink lots of water!  It's not hard to get your stress and everything under control. You may feel terrible right now but trust me-it goes away! This isn't the first time i've experienced this.  Good luck to you and stay strong! :-)

I'm 16 years old and very athletic, my heart beat is at normal pace and when I go to run it goes up to the normal rate it should be and out of the random I start to slow down and can't breath at times my heart starts to beat super fast and I get a pinching feeling in my chest.... Then it slows down and I can feel the blood rushing through my vanes and into my head making me dizzy and want to vomit I need some help...

I have also experience this, the other day i was at the post office and i started feeling a severe headache, i started sweating cold n i just felt my body so weak, i couldn't feel my fingers and I actually fainted, the paramedics took me to the emergency room and the only thing they told me was that my white blood cells were elevated and to see my regular doctor, the closest appointment i got is in 4 weeks. I also been having pain in the bottom right side of my chest, i still get headaches everyday and very often start sweating n dizzy, i sit down right away because im scared im going to faint again. I also have a cold and my throat is being hurting alot maybe that could be the reason?

I've had the same thing for the past week it would usually happen when I'm eating at the restroom which is pretty embarrassing because when I'd enter I'd suddenly calm down then assume I'm better and return to the table to find myself back in the restroom puking my guts out. I did notice however that if I zoned out that I'd suddenly calm down but once I thought about it or something else it would just come back. I think that it's fatigue seeing as these last 2 weeks I was on a road trip eating different foods on an unfit schedule and sleeping at different times everyday. From this personal experience I think it's your body having some sort of anxiety from the stress put on it due to the symptoms of lightheaded /pressure /dizziness in the head, rapid heart beat, and that sudden urge to pray to the porcelain throne( puke). I've also noticed that in places I'm comfortable in it would settle down such as my car (because I had spent most of my time there because of the road trip(go figure on a road trip but didn't puke once in the car)) and my house. Seeing most of these comments does sound scary though because of the vast amount of diagnosis people are saying that could be possible but would have never been thought of before through my prior knowledge. I believe it's just my body reacting to the recent exurtsion on itself. I'm only 16 and don't think all these illnesses would be a common occurence in my age group, so I'm going to rest and see if I can get over this stupid hindrance. Best of luck to everyone -Brandon

Have you been checked for Minnears disease? (not sure of spelling). It affects ears and can cause serious vertigo - all of a sudden too.

hi just last nite I had this happen again, fast heartbeat, light headed and stiff shoulders, went to bed for 12 hr

twice in the past I have worn battery packs (normal) and Cardiograms  (normal).

i have recnlty been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and the merformin seemed to help', plus I has  a TIA 4 yrs ago and I take Aggrenox plus Ramipril for bloodpressure and water pills.

just recently retired from very stressful job of 38yrs so I thought these symptons were a thing of the past, until last nite when. I got hit again,

I believe I may have just gone too long without eating, but if anyone who  hastupe 2 tht has felt this  way in the past?

also just anote to someone above, you can have a stroke or TIA on your right side, it is not just the left like most people have been told,  you can most def stroke on right side, I did and so did. my mother recently.

Which symptoms are you talking about? There are so many people talking on here I'm not sure which ones you are referring to. Please let me know, I want to research this.

I have been having almost the same symptoms. I get the feeling like I'm going to faint along with sweating, shaking, feeling numb in my fingers. I have never actually fainted, but this has happened at least 6 times in the last three weeks. Every time it happens I am in a public place, it never happens when I am at home. Did you ever find out what was causing this to happen to you? I went to the doctor yesterday (almost passed out while waiting in line) and they told me it is because of the flu. I'm not buying it.
