heartbeat or pulsing sound in ear help what can i do

Question? does anyone with this problem also have high blood pressure, and on medication for high blood pressure? I started to have the same problem in my left ear a year ago when I started taking blood pressure medication. I think it has somthing to do with my blood pressure.

so i just started looking into this, I have had the pulseating sound in my right ear for about a year or more now, how it started was this..i had glued fake nails on for a trip we were going on, naturally I am a nail biter, so I didnt want to look like a nervous freak. Hince the fake nails to cover it up. So I got out of the shower one day, felt like water in my ear or an itch, so i stuck my pinky finger in to scratch, and may sound gross...but a big peice of wax came out!! Wow I thought thats gross! Did a little more digging and removed some more, felt good. but the next day it bothered me, like if water was still in there, so I did a peroxide cleaning like my mother use to do when we were little, then all i could hear from that ear was a hazing, like if I was holding a sea shell to my ear. This lasted for about two weeks, and I tried ear drops, everything and nothing helped. I could still hear out of it, but not as good as my left ear. So one day i just held my finger over the little peice of cartalidge over the opening over my ear, and when I let go....my ear poped!! Loud, and I could feel like heat escaping from the opening, but I could hear again so well, it was a great feeeling. after a few night I started noticing the pulseating.....it has lasted everysice. I can only here it when its really quiet, late at night, and when I try to sleep on my right side. There is no pain associated with it, but its very annoying! I was thinking mabe I had damaged my ear drum that day or something and have never tried to get it looked at, but its almost to the point that I cannot stand it aymore, is it something I should have looked at? Please let me know! Thanks!!

Well I have a wave sound in my right ear. If i tilt my head a certain way I cant hear it as much but then it gets loud, but if i tilt my head the other way it is really loud! The noise is so annoying! I can still hear no problem.

Ihave that sound too. It's pulsating sound like a heart beat.

If I tried to relax it dis appear

well when I relax I can hear it more because its quiet around me. is super annoying. Is it normal to have that sound when your 13, cause that's how old I am.

I get nose bleeds and am aenemic. When my blood count is getting too low I hear my heart beating in my head. It does feel like I have an ear infection some times. Get your bloods done.

well I went to the doctor and he said that I have wax deep in the ear that I have the pulse in, so he gave me stuff to loosen the wax but it didn't work and the noise it still there.

I have had this pulsating for years, a Dr said it was from the carotid artery, and it isnt titinus, ringing in the ears. I have some hearing loss. this pulsating overriddes anything that I hear, right now the tv is on, no problem, but the pulsating is maddening. I dont have any other symptoms with it. no fever, bp is normal. I dont know what can be done about it.

Only thing I can Advise? If you can? Start Traveling.. Go see some of these TOP Medical Centers..
Keep Your Med Records, Blood Tests, CAT Scans, InHanced MRI's and Start traveling around and get A Bunch of Opinions..

I have Tinitus and Had the Pusling in One ear.. It was an Infection in my case.. A 3rd ENT I saw diagnosed it correctly.. I took an AnitBiotic for 2 wks and gone with the Wind..
The 1st 2? Put Tubes in , etc.. instead.. Never went back to them after seeing the 3rd ENT..

The only answer I have is it is probably stress which makes the blood pump round the body more, it drives me crazy Im sat leaning to the right to ease the heart beat with cotton wool in right now

Well I don't have stress, but the doctor waxed out my eat and what it does is he filled a srynge with warm water and put the tip deep in my ear and her gushed the water into my eat and it flushes away the clogged wax.
