I have always been able to squeeze my nipples and have fluid come out. Just recently I squeezed one and it was brownish. Is there something wrong, or is it just because it might have been in there awhile.
Hello, I am a new member on these forums, and while reading all the posts, yours jumped out at me. I had discharge from both nipples, mostly clear but once a brownish colour. Went to the doctor who said it was menopause ( I was in late 50's and in menopause) so I believed him, but still a had a feeling something was not right. I insisted on a mammogram, and ultrasound, which showed nothing there but some tiny, tiny calcifications. I was told they were nothing to worry about also.

Two years later, I found a lump in the left breast, which turned out to be 12 cancers, 11 still inside the ducts and 1 which had invaded the surrounding tissues and into one of the lymph glands. They were the tiny calcifications that I was told were nothing to worry about.

I have had a mastectomy, chemopherapy and radiotherapy. and will take medication for the next 5 years, to try to stop the cancer. 39 lymph glands were removed, and now I have dreadful lymphodemia ( the reason I have joined these forums, trying to find help for it).
I don't know if others have answered your thread, but I just had to do so. Please, please, have tests, and if there is anything at all that you think is not right, insist on more follow ups
I wish you all the best and I really hope yours is nothing :-)
