The thick white stuff you see is not sperm. It is called smegma. Basically, you need to clean that as it is a collection of dead skin cells and other substances secreted from your body. It is NORMAL to have it, but keep yourself clean.
You'll figure out how to masturbate. Just do what feels good. Everybody has a different way of doing it.
