About a year ago I had a blood test show I had a high white cell count. I also experienced swelling in my left foot. Today, my white cell count is still high and the swelling has spread throughout, hands, feet, legs, arms and swelling eyes. My doctor also had a concern about my "Y count" saying that he would normally put me on Prednisone which have me well quickly, but because of the Y cell issues he claims he can't.
I am very dizzy and sometimes nauseous, headaches and very lethargic. I've had rashes and noticed these rashes appear around new moles. My arms and legs sometimes feel like lead and have no appetite. I am always itchy and have also been diagnosed as a "candidate for acute angle glaucoma. I have had headaches since before this diagnosis and the eye surgeon claims its not the glaucoma causing them.

Because I didn't know the right questions to ask when I saw my doctor today, I don't know how high my white cell count is and am unclear of what "Y count" is about..I did check online and it indicated anemia.

I'm worried about cancer as my mom died of cancer a few years ago.
I am scheduled to see an internist and my doctor is arranging to up the date as he does not think I can wait til the end of March 09
