My fiance has some kind of holes in his skin which are more concentrated on his chest and back. They look like shallow caves and sometimes there are two of them together, which are interconnected by what looks like a very short tunnel, through which a very thin needle or thread can pass. These generally do not have any pus or other fillings, but a few are filled with a hard white substance like that which comes out of a pimple, which could be easily cleaned. We tried various medications but nothing seems to work.
Though it is not contagious and doesn't appear harmful as yet but we are a little apprehensive about these holes. His mother had the same but very few..only he seems to have inherited a lot more. We are not sure what it could be and no treatment is helping.
Next we are planning for laser therapy to remove the scars. Any idea what could it be?
