hello! first of all, I'm loving this site because it really does help :) I was a drug abuser for 3 years, got on subox for 2-so you can imagine the severe constipation (ew I know!), pms symptoms increasing (you know ladies) appetite (gained 60lbs) and sleep! I didn't realize how suboxone actually affects sleep while taking it (later on, i used to sleep a lot in the begining) anyway, for those coming off suboxone, I can tell you the withdrawals aren't too bad..of course everyone's different. the last month I changed the mg each week so my body doesn't get used to a routine, but wont be in total chaos when the stuff is not in my body. once you have a routine, you have more change of withdrawal..again everyone is different. don't be scared!! i now you read that everywhere but it's true. yes you'll have flu like symptoms,  you'll have a few restless nights, weight (either gaining or losing)but it's not too bad. I'd suggest taking multi vitamne, b6 and b12 along with st johns wort and melatonin. I seriously was thinking of just staying on it forever because already scared..remember, it's only temp, and you're stronger than what you think. however,  you feel that you can't go through stopping sub then wait, when you feel ready, you'll be able to go through with it.this doesn't mean you're weak, just means you know you're body and you know what you can handle..take your time :) I relapsed on subox couple of times, this time it's different because I know I'm ready-leave a note by your bed to remind yourself why you're going through this..its always good to have a live person to talk to during this take off :) remember, you can do it-I know it sound corny, but seriously you can do this
Be strong...everyone is better than a chemical dependance!!!
