that's good you mention that, I get the big clots and really bad cramps, I've been diagnosed with Fibroid Cyst and Ovarion Cyst, now that I'm going through the pains and clots again my doctor did a biopsy in his office and OMG that hurt really bad and he ordered blood work and I gotta go for another pelvic ultra sound. So my advice is to tell your obgyn don't wait for it to be too late. It's always best to get checked right away to be safe. and good luck to you all and myself lol I'm going next week for ultra sound I hate that cause you have to have a full bladder ugh...

My periods became very heavy and I had unbearable cramps every month. To the point where i had to stay home for the first 2 days every month. I changed my diet, watched my sugar and went gluten free and exercised and now I don't even feel my period at all! And my doctor told me just to take Advil or Aleve every month but now I don't have to take anything. It's actually pretty amazing that your body responds to really positive lifestyle changes and that it also lets you know when something is not right.

I would take iron vitamins . I had bleed 3 months straight with huge blood clots .I had to change almost every 20 min. I was so scared something was very wrong. I lost a lot of blood. I went to the doctor and they were clueless and only send me a huge bill.told me to take iron vitamins. Lasted 3 months..

I am dealing with THE EXACT SAME THING! I just had the last bit of blood tests done yesterday (11 vials!!!) I am going back to my gyno (brand new doctor) next week with ultra sounds from 2011 & december 2013 and resent blood tests to figure out what is going out. My symptoms are exactly what you describe. He's thinking it might be PCOS but I will be finding out soon!

I have had the same problem for years now....my period only consists of blood clots and hardly any blood. I have been too scared to go to the doctor and I'm now 26, this first began about 8 years ago. I'm still here and very well so I'm taking that as maybe that's just the way my body chooses to work.... But saying that I should have probably seen a doctor, the fear is too unbearable though as to what it may be. I do have a thyroid problem due to lack of iron so I believe this May be a factor.

WARNING: If you have a weak stomach don't read this! I have had chunks of flesh come out of me like this since I was 11 years old. I am 40 years old now with two children & I still have painful periods with chunks. The chunks are about 3" long & 2" wide. The thing is, after all the chunks have passed I do not cramp anymore. Now I have had this for 31 years & I am still alive! Don't worry to much about it. Just learn how to deal with the pain. I warm bath and I nice bottle of E & J Brandy work for me. I can grab a hold of the chunks while I am in the bath and pull on them while I am pushing. Most of the time the chunks break off before they come all the way out but, I push alot of them out this way. My pain is so bad the only pills the doctor prescribed that worked were highly addictive. I figure I can not operate a moter vehical taking those so, why take them and get addicted when I can have better results with I nice bottle of brandy. The doctors will have you taking a hand full of pills everyday if you listen to them! Anyway, don't know if I helped all of you in anyway but I just thought I would share & let you know you are not alone.
