Hello! I want to know how appendicitis starts out. I am asking you this because I have two children and I am afraid that one of them could get appendicitis and I will not be able to recognize that. Hello! Well, I can tell you that the first symptom is loosing appetite. Then usually comes increasing of body temperature and pains at right side of the abdomen. Right leg stiffness can occur, too. Abdomen swelling is sign of appendicitis. If some of your children have these symptoms you need to take them to the doctor immediately.
