I have been on Suboxone for almost two years. Prior to that I was on very high doses of opiates for pain. Suboxone was a miracle drug until I recently ran out. I have a few days until my appointment and I am gradually feeling worse by the hour. I think the anxiety far surpasses any of the other withdrawal symptoms. Is there any way to ease the discomfort until my appointment? This new doctor cannot see me any earlier. I feel incapable of even getting out of bed. Why is this worse than the days I ran out of pills?

HI, IM INTO DAY THREE OF A CODEINE WITHDRAWL COLD TURKEY.FLU SYMPTONS AND WEAKNESS MAINLY. ITS MOST UNPLEASANT, BUT NOWHERE NEAR AS BAD AS WITHDRAWING FROM ALCHOL.YES, IM A LONG TIME SOBER ALCHOLIC, WHO STARTED SOURCING AND ABUSING PRESCRIBED CODEINE FOR BACK PAIN. IM A PRAT.......AGAIN.
