I started getting acne when I was about 22. I am now 24 and have finally gone to the doctor. I have been using a 4% benz/peroxide wash 2x's a day as well as taking nicamide tablets 2x's per day and using differn gel at night. It has bee about 6 weeks and my skin is worse than ever! I mean so oil that I have to run home after work and wash my face. And not only is the skin around my lips dry but right next to the dry skin is about 5 deep pimples that freakin hurt. I have read that this is the skin purgeing period. Has anyone else experienced this and if so how long did it take for you skin to fully clear.
