There isnt a too old!!!! as long as its what you both want and its working.
But please be carefull when it comes to sex. Make sure you are fully protected.... birth control pill and condoms.
Have your parents met the guy? are they ok with it? they are usally a good judge of character.
I was with a man 10 years older than me for 18months. It was later in life i met him. I was 37 he was 47. He was too old for me, as i still wanted to go out an have fun an he wanted to stay in
But if id of met him at 20 an he was 30 it would of been different

Its whats right for you.
Dont let him tell you what to do tho cos he thinks your young an he knows best. be equal xx

Relax and enjoy this relationship, you may never know where it will go.

Now I wish to tell you some that my married daughter told me, that she wished to go out with older men, because they are not into two timing or fooling around with more then one lady at time.

So with that said, she was 19 and dated and married a man, just 4 years younger them me, her dad. I was 22 when she was born (1981) So age does not matter, but with you being 17, in most states, if you two were to have sexual intercourse, he can be charged with rape with a minor, (child molester) no matter if you wish for it or not. you can protect both of you, by being emancipated, which you is being an adult at 17, not 18, through the courts.

Now that you are thinking of having sex, or having sex, Now get on to two forms of birth control, the pill and some other internal item to use both all the time. You are well over the age to get birth control without your parents’ knowledge or have to do anything for you.
Make a appointment & Go to your family doctor or a planned parenthood clinic, if you need to have a girlfriend go with you, do so.
Plan on taking the pills for about 3 to 6 months before have the un-condom sex you may be wishing to have.
