How to know if I have Acanthamoeba Keratitis?

I have an appointment with my doctor next week, and I am quite nervous abut this and in preparation I would like to gather some more information. It's about Acanthamoeba Keratitis, which I think I might have. What is the way they make the diagnosis and how can I know myself in advance whether this is what I have got? Thanks!
