My legs...ouch...after a long run in wicking shorts. What can I do other than buy several cotton and lycra shorts? :?

Thanks,

Shelly
Vaseline® is your friend. I've never had a problem when I've remembered to put on Vaseline®.

This is why I run in bike shorts. I get the Coolmax kind.....I don't mind not having a pocket, it's just more comfy.

For the 'rough' spots that rub alot, I use lanolin or other thicker stuff. For the parts that don't rub quite as much, I use aloe gel. Works great!

Keep It Dry – Sweating when it's extremely hot, or when practicing can aggravate scraping. One valuable trap is to keep a little tub of child powder in your sack so you can sprinkle some on to ingest overabundance dampness when you're out.

Grease up Your Skin – A touch of oil will help your thighs coast past each other, instead of pulling or rubbing the skin. Apply saturating cream to the internal parts of the thighs before practicing or strolling to adequately ensure against scraping.

Diminish Friction – One of the most ideal approaches to counteract thigh abrading is additionally one of the least complex: wear fitting attire. When you're joining a skirt or dress with exposed legs, it's simple for your thighs to rub together, so think about wearing as some cycling shorts underneath to lessen grating. Whenever working out, wear dressing made with dampness wicking fabrics, for example, engineered strands and apparel that has smooth creases – this will diminish rubbing and keep your skin as dry as could reasonably be expected.
